We, the workers of Webhelp, in the face of the worsening of our working and living conditions, are taking matters into our own hands! We will not tolerate working with wages that are not even enough for the first twenty days of the month when the company is advertising the profits and how many new projects it is constantly opening.
Working under conditions of constant stress and pressure, with impossible targets to achieve the customer’s numbers that will bring him even greater profits, while we are counting down to the last euro to have a coffee in the cafeteria.
With departmental closures, with shifts that cannot be covered due to lack of people, with changes of duties in the department itself during the shift so that “we don’t sit around” they try to squeeze us to get the maximum.
Even the bonus that they took from our salary they try to complicate it with the constant changes in the bonus scheme and present it as something extra that the “think human” Webhelp gives!
We tell them that what is really modern and necessary is the7 hours – 5 days – 35 hours per week with substantial increases in our wages, with collective labour agreements, with stable and permanent work. This is what we will fight for, against the plans of the employers.
That is why we are taking the situation into our own hands, discussing and co-deciding our actions to demand better working conditions and real increases in our wages.
