THINK HUMAN (ΝΟΤ)
Our Union denounces the management of Concentrix for firing a colleague with multiple sclerosis from a Greek project, despite her facing a serious vision problem!
This is how they show their “respect” for people: by dismissing someone with a chronic illness!
Under the familiar pretext of performance, they put her on the notorious Performance Improvement Program (PIP) to “improve” her numbers, at a time when the procedures in this department are under development and constantly changing.
No one, of course, talks about the zero-score monitors handed out like candy to colleagues — not only used as a pretext to cut bonuses, but also as a tool to push workers into performance evaluations.
Of course — since the colleague “didn’t meet the targets,” HR made sure to inform her that she was being dismissed, without giving her the chance to transfer to another department!
That’s how eager they were — while work intensification in the department is off the charts, the senior supervisor removed her from the team’s group chat on Teams before her dismissal was even fully communicated, just in case she said anything!
We’re saying it loud and clear once again: workers are not numbers — and we will not allow our lives to be treated as disposable for the sake of the company’s profits!
WE DEMAND:
- Take back the dismissal of our colleague!
- The abolition of the unacceptable evaluation program (PIP).
- Full staffing of all shifts with the necessary personnel.
- No shift without a supervisor and proper support.
